This past weekend at the Canada North Resources Expo proved to be a memorable one for the Inland team. The event saw an impressive turnout from our customers, vendors, and community partners. The weekend’s highlight was a special reception and charity auction on Friday night, leaving an indelible mark on everyone involved.
At the Expo, Inland’s eye-catching display featured Kenworth trucks and CASE, Link-Belt, and Tigercat machinery. Together with CASE CE and Spatial Technologies, the Inland team also showcased a Leica Geosystems grading system and demonstrated the CASE Minotaur DL550B and CX26C Mini Excavator.
On the first day of the event, Inland and Weldco-Beales Manufacturing announced an additional boost to the successful CharityDRIVE campaign for Ronald McDonald House BC and Yukon. For every Inland machine equipped with Weldco attachments, a $100 contribution will be directly donated to RMHBC, providing essential support to families during challenging times.
“Weldco has been an active partner to Inland’s CharityDRIVE efforts since day one,” said Corey Timms, Inland’s Director of Construction Equipment Sales. “We’re very grateful that they’re taking their support to the next level, and we look forward to this additional commitment’s impact at the House.”
Day two brought the Honour House Society’s Tour of Honour through the Inland booth. This tour highlights the challenges faced by those dedicated to keeping us safe daily. The funds generated during the tour will support their two locations, Honour House and Honour Ranch. Through Project Courage, Inland and Link-Belt have collectively raised over $40,000 to date for Honour House Society.
At a special Friday night reception, Inland joined forces with Ritchie Bros to auction off a Limited Edition W900B Extended Cab Tri-Drive. The net proceeds supported Spirit of the North Healthcare Foundation and Truckers Against Trafficking. The auction was won by Jed Fryer of JF Logging and, combined with silent auction items donated by our suppliers, resulted in a remarkable sum of over $140,000 raised for our selected charities.
“It’s been an absolutely fantastic weekend,” said Jeff McNeal, Inland’s Canadian New Truck Sales Manager. “We’re very proud of our partnership with Jed and the JF Logging team, and we can’t thank Jed enough for his support. Those proceeds will go a long way in supporting our communities.”
The auction was part one of Inland’s celebrations for Kenworth’s 100th anniversary. Two more auctions are scheduled this year, featuring Limited Edition W900L 86″ Studio Sleepers. For more information, visit the link listed below.
The Inland team sincerely thanks everyone who contributed to the weekend’s success. The community impact achieved brings immense pride to our team.
